Conveyance between George Gowan of the State of North Carolina on the one part, and John Foster of Ninety Six District and Province of South Carolina of the other part
John Foster paid 200 pounds to George Gowan for a tract of land on the East side of Broad River near Lafferty’s Creek being patented to George Gowan by a patent bearing the date of the ninth day of November 1774.

James M Harris, Sheriff of York District sells 72 and a half acres of Drury Goings that James McCluney was creditor for 38 dollars.
Thompson McCluney (husband of Drury Going’s half sister, Elvira Plaxco), was the highest bidder at 10 dollars. Land located in York District SC, on waters of Dry Creek. Sale was done on April 8, 1828. Witnessed by Nathan Kimball and Isaac R. Harris.
