Mrs. Bertha Gowen died February 26, 2000 and was buried in East Lawn Palms Cemetery, according to her obituary in “The Tucson Citizen:”

“Bertha Gowen, born March 16, 1920 in Wise County, Texas, died Saturday, February 26, 2000. Loving wife of Kenneth Gowen; beloved mother of Jerry Quinn; sister to Harvel Phillips; will be greatly missed by her numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. A graveside farewell will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 29, 2000 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd.”


Marvin Gowan was born at Chino Valley, Arizona October 9, 1909. He was married February 7, 1943 at Albuquerque, New Mexico to Priscilla Keel, according to Bernalillo County, New Mexico Marriage Book 35, page 19792. She was born October 13, 1922 at Clarksdale, Arizona. Marvin Gowan and Priscilla Keel Gowan lived at 429 Apache Trail in Albuquerque.
