1753 Sept 5 – Ann Gowen, daughter of Edward Gowen, Jr, was born about 1735, probably in Charles City County. She was living in Granville County September 5, 1753 when the Granville County Court ordered her “mulattoe child, Cooper” be bound to John Parnall.
