PECOS COUNTY, TEXAS

Dennis Lee Goins, a sales engineer for Baroid Division, was born in West Virginia in 1939. Brenda Lynn Bonfili Goins, also a native of West Virginia, was born in 1943. The couple made their home at 501 East Fifth Street in Ft. Stockton in 1967.

Dennis Lee Goins and Brenda Lynn Goins, received a warranty Deed to Lot 8, Block 2, Russell Heights Addition, Crane, Texas, December 12, 1967, according to Crane County Deed Book 202, page 6.

On January 14, 1970 Dennis Lee Goins and Brenda Lynn Goins “of Midland County, Texas” gave a warranty deed to Lot 8, Block 2, Russell Heights Addition according to Crane County Deed Book 216, page 248.

Dennis Lee Goins and Brenda Lynn Goins received a warranty deed from Doyce C. Huckaby October 13, 1971 to Lot 4, Block 32, Western Plateau Addition, Amarillo, Texas, according to Randall County Deed Book 465, page 266. Children born to Dennis Lee Goins and Brenda Lynn Goins include Jace Harrison Goins.

Capt. John Guyns of Livingston, Texas commanded a company of volunteers from Polk County who enlisted in the Texas State Troops for Confederate service. On March 2, 1862 Brig-Gen. W. M. Neyland, commanding the Second Brigade filed a readiness report:

Kimberly Faye Gowens, daughter of Jesse Willie Gowens and Lottie Faye Floyd Gowens, was born in December 1968. On October 4, 1997 she wrote:

“I am looking for my father, Jesse Willie Gowens. The last time we saw each other was when I was three and a half years old. Jesse Willie Gowens also fathered my sister, Shelley Denise Gowens. Lottie Faye refuses to give any information to help in this search. I am searching for medical records and to know if he is still alive. Goyne gave a warranty deed to the Crestview property to L. O. Williams February 3, 1965 according to Potter County Deed Book 1006, page 569.
