Robert Allison Gowens was born in Fayette County May 20, 1900, according to BVS File 615536. He was married about 1920 to Hattie Gooch and lived in Houston. “Hattie Gowens” died September 10, 1940 in Galveston County, according to BVS File 41570.

Robert Allison Gowens, Jr. born October 5, 1921

Robert Allison Gowens, Jr, son of Robert Allison Gowens and Hattie Gooch Gowens, was born October 5, 1921 at Hamilton, Texas, according to Hamilton County Birth Book 5, page 29. He, a “supervisor for Aradmac” and his wife, Sarah C. Gowens lived at 4805 Trinity in 1966 and 1969, according to the Ft. Worth, Texas city directory. Al-so living at that address in 1966 was Gwen A. Gowens, a student and Lyn Gowens, a bookkeeper.

W. T. Gowan received a warranty deed to Lots 4-9, Block 17, Longworth, Texas from R. L. Cagle October 1, 1942, according to Fisher County Deed Book 116, page 226.
Perry G. Gowin (37) married Ginger L. Green (20) on January 15, 1983 according to Fisher County marriage records.
Eris Onette Guynes died January 13, 1993 according to Fisher County death records.

Glessie Goins was born in Roosevelt County, New Mexico and moved to Texas when she was two years old, according to her obituary published in the “Lubbock Avalanche-Journal” in its August 31, 1992 edition. She attended West Texas State Teachers College in Canyon, Texas. She operated dress shops by the name of Sweetbriar and Gaw-dins in Lubbock, Texas and was also the owner of Janie’s Dress Shop there. She died in Plainview, Texas August 1, 1992 and was buried in Floydada Cemetery in Floydada, Texas.
John P. Goins gave a special warranty deed to Frank Pratt to four tracts of land in Floyd County October 22, 1965, according to Floyd County Deed Book 173, page 620.
Lucy Goins Cates died February 16, 1981 according to Floyd County death records.
Mary E. Goin, Lydia F. Wolf and Sally M. Murray received a warranty deed from Catherine A. Wyanot, feme sole of Stark County, Ohio to 160 acres March 16, 1894, according to Floyd County Deed Book 13, page 63.
