GRIMES COUNTY, TEXAS

Ada Goens, a minor under the guardianship of W. C. Lamb, of Grimes County, sold one-third of 375½ acres of land located in Hamilton and Brown [later Mills] County, Texas, to R. M. Thompson, May 7, 1884, according to Hamilton County Deed Book P, page 206 and Mills County Deed Book 10, page 587. R. M. Thompson received the land for “locating and patenting said land.”
