1850 resident of White County, IL – War of 1812 Pension Application – Taylor Chism – Tennessee Militia enlisted in Clarksville, TN – Posey Co, Indiana application of child George Chisum under age of 21 on March 30, 1855. George is only heir under age of 21 at time – the youngest child. Both mother and father dead for a number of years. (per depo of James Chisum)
Depo of William Johnson in White Co, IL – says Taylor has been dead 7 years, and Elizabeth his wife dead 15-18 years. Sworn on May 20, 1856.
