This was recorded in Land Patent Book 78 page 444 as TN Hawkins County Grant # 268. The original request for this land was entered on 26 Mar 1785 and assigned TN Hawkins County …. Warrant originally issued to Jonathan Courtney. Warrant assigned to heirs of Marget Davis. … Entry # 1878. It took 7 years and 11 months to issue the grant.
