FACTS:

Elizabeth Estes, daughter of William Estes in Chester County, SC.  She was married to John Lockert.  She was mistakenly listed as Elizabeth Going, but this is incorrect – I have attached the will and probate papers of  her father, William Estes, that clearly show she was his daughter – not Drury Going’s daughter.  Undoubtedly, the Goings, Lockerts, and Estes families knew eachother well – but this Elizabeth had a maiden name of Estes, not Going:

She was married to John Lockert in 1798, probably in Chester County.  He was born there “about 1770 near Lockert Shoals on Broad River,” according to “History of Hall County, Georgia” by Sybil Wood McRay.
