In obedience to an order of Court dated the 2d day of May 1711 which is the continuance of sundry orders formerly made in a Difference betwixt William Woodbridge plt and Thomas Glascock defends we x x being sumonod by the sherriff x x did in Company of the Surveyor of this County x x lay out the land of the plt which he Claymes by a patt: granted to Paul Woodbridge for six hundred acres of Land dated the 18th November 1664 but were stopt by the defend’t he producing an elder pattent and alleadging we were within the bounds of the same which said patent is granted to Cap’t Moor Fantleroy for 5350 aores of Land and Dated the 22d of May 1650 part of the land Contained in the said patent lying above a part below Farnham Creek which last part Containes 2750 acres by surveying of which both parties did there alleadge would end the Controversie, which ( with the assistanoe of the said Surveyor ) we did do according to the Courses and Distances therein Expressed and found that we were not within the bounds of the same when Thomas Glascock stopt us, after which we surveyed the lands of the plt aforesd and do find that the defend’t aforesaid hath done damage thereon to the value of five shillings sterl, Witness our hands and seals this 2d day of June 1711. Freshwater say that the line which parted his land and the land of Tho Robinson dec’ed, went by his Clear ground whioh was under the hill near the said Haslooks house
Answer: I being a boarder in Geo* Haslooks house heard him the said Haslock say that his line Run by his Clear Ground side where stood a small hoghouse
2’dly: Did you Ever hear Tho Robinson dec’ed say that the land which Joyned Geo Haslocks line was his the said Robinsons land
Answer: Yes I heard him say so severall times for that I was going to buy the said Land of him.

Answer: No, George Haslock was dead bofore I came into the Countrey

5’thly: Was it not generally reported among the neighbours that the land where Charles Barbers house and plantation now is was Mr Sam’ll Baylys Land and before he marryed Mr Robinsons Daughter it was accot’d the said Robinsons Land
Answer: Yes I have heard the land where the said Barber house stands called Robinsons neck.
6thly: did you ever hear Geo Haslock dec’ed say that the spring where Tho Freshwater now Fetches water was Robinsons spring
